Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Rosely (“Rosely,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Rosely mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information — such as your name and email address when you create an account.
- Onboarding and quiz responses — the answers you give to attachment-style questions and details you choose to share about your relationship (for example, a partner's name and attachment style, or notes you type in).
- Content you enter — messages or text you paste into the app to translate or decode. This content is processed to provide the feature and is not used to identify you publicly.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data — app interactions, feature usage, app version, device model, operating system, and similar diagnostic information.
- Purchase data — subscription status and transaction identifiers associated with your purchases (handled through Apple and our subscription provider; we do not receive your full payment card details).
2. How we use information
- Provide, personalize, and improve the Service, including tailoring insights to your attachment style and your partner's.
- Create and manage your account and subscription.
- Process purchases, free trials, and renewals.
- Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service.
- Monitor performance, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Service providers we use
We rely on trusted third parties to operate the Service. These providers process information on our behalf and are bound to protect it:
- Google Firebase — for account authentication, data storage, and analytics.
- RevenueCat — to manage subscriptions and entitlements.
- Apple — to process payments through the App Store and deliver the app.
Each provider maintains its own privacy practices, which we encourage you to review.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- With the service providers listed above, to operate the Service;
- To comply with the law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, safety, and property of users or others;
- In connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see “Your choices”).
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
- Access & deletion — you may request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected].
- Manage your subscription — through your Apple ID settings on your device.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. We honor applicable rights and will respond to verified requests.
8. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 17, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International users
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of information to those countries, which may have different data-protection rules than where you live.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the app.
11. Contact us
If you have questions about this Policy or your data, email us at [email protected].
